Coordinator, Robotics & Minimally Invasive Surgery (Nuero/Ortho)


The Operating Room Coordinator is integral in evaluating and continuously improving service and care 

delivery related to quality, safety and efficiency for the surgical disciplines served. The Operating Room

Coordinator coordinates patient care for the surgical patients.  Coordination includes:

  • Interfacing with surgeons, anesthesia providers, vendors, staff, unit leaders and various departments across surgical services and the hospital.
  • Oversite with regards to patient scheduling, specific staff education for disciplines served, assuring appropriate staffing, equipment, technology coordination, supplies for disciplines served.

BSN required.  MSN preferred.  RNFA required. 3-5 years in OR Circulating, Scrubbing and first assisting for disciplines served.  1-2 years previous coordination, leadership or education experience for disciplines served.

Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.  American Heat Association BLS required.  CNOR preferred.
