Food Service Worker

 

Responsible for performing routine general service tasks in the Food and Nutrition Services Department.  Specifically, may work on patient trayline; deliver and retrieve patient trays, nourishments, menus; work in cafeteria; work in catering area; work in dishroom/pot room; and/or work in utility area.

 

Position requires high school diploma or GED.  Ability to read and comprehend menus and/or recipes.  Ability to effectively communicate (both verbal and written).  Ability to apply basic math functions.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.  Ability to work well under time constraints.
