MANAGER, OPERATIONS CONSULTING GROUP

MAJOR FUNCTION: As the Manager of Operations Consulting Group, you will be joining a team of high-performing internal consultants who act as strategic advisors and partners to Inspira Health’s leadership team in support of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Director of Operations Consulting Group, the Manager of Operations Consulting Group will drive strategic process innovation and continuous performance improvement initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for implementing change, serving as a coach and mentor, and being the subject matter expert for performance improvement methodologies.  This position will have a lead role in strategic design with Executive Leadership to provide insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiencies across the health system.  The Manager of Operations Consulting Group will actively facilitate meetings and work sessions with executives, develop data-driven recommendations, apply change management skills to instill ownership, and establish sustainment plans to ensure permanent adoption and success of improvement initiatives.  In addition, this role will be responsible for leading and collaborating with Senior, Managing, and Associate Operations Consultants within the department, as well as staff across all levels of the organization, to proliferate LEAN Six Sigma and change management practices.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

 

A.  Education:                         Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Major in Healthcare, Business, Industrial/Systems Engineering, or related field preferred.

 

B.  Experience:                        Minimum 6 years of relevant experience preferred. Managerial or other leadership positions preferred. Expert knowledge and experience with continuous performance and process improvement initiatives, including project and change management, required. Must possess advanced knowledge utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word. Extensive experience interpreting data trends, patterns, and gaps to inform performance improvement priorities. Experience with data visualization and translating data to be understood across all levels of the organization required

 

                                                Essential to possess self-starting qualities with the ability to work independently while providing guidance to others. Must have prior experience planning and managing performance improvement projects, as a leader or supporting team member. Expert written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, required. The Manager, Operations Consulting must have an expert ability to work with and influence staff across all levels of the organization to supporting lasting improvements.

 

C.  Certification/Licensure:     Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Preferred

                                                Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred
