MAJOR FUNCTION: As a Managing Clinical Transformation Consultant, you will be joining a team of high-performing internal consultants who act as strategic advisors and partners to Inspira Health’s leadership team in support of operational and clinical excellence and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Director of Operations Consulting Group, the Managing Clinical Transformation Consultant will assist with clinical process innovation and continuous performance improvement initiatives across the organization. The Managing Clinical Transformation Consultant will leverage clinical expertise in combination with performance improvement methodologies to facilitate meetings and work sessions, to identify and scope operational and business challenges, and to develop data-driven recommendations that drive operational efficiencies.This position will work collaboratively with clinical and nonclinical leadership and frontline stakeholders at all Inspira locations to achieve enterprise-wide consistency in areas such as care delivery and documentation, improvements in care efficiency and quality of care of outcomes, optimization in cost of care, and advances in patient and staff engagement and satisfaction. Additionally, the Managing Clinical Transformation Consultant will apply change management skills to instill ownership and ensure permanent adoption and success of improvement initiatives. This role will closely collaborate with other Senior, Managing, and Associate Clinical Transformation Consultants with the department to help proliferate LEAN Six Sigma and change management practices.





A.  Education:                         Bachelor’s Degree required in a clinical area (BSN preferred). 



B.  Experience:                     Minimum 5 years clinical experience required. 2 years of experience in Clinical Informatics, in managerial or other leadership positions preferred. Knowledge and experience with continuous performance and process improvement initiatives, including project and change management, required. Must possess advanced knowledge utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio. Must be proficient at interpreting data trends, patters and gaps for directional storytelling and to inform performance improvement priorities required. Experience with clinical technology, including as system subject matter expert or project manager for installation, and knowledge of current clinical practices and related information systems, required. Cerner Clinical applications experience preferred as well as knowledge of trends and advances in the field of Healthcare Informatics. Experience with data visualization and translating data to be understood across all levels of the organization required.


                                                Essential to possess self-starting qualities with the ability to work independently. Must have prior experience planning and managing performance improvement projects, as a leader or supporting team member. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentations, required. The Managing Clinical Transformation Consultant must have an advanced ability to work with and influence staff across all levels of the organization to supporting lasting improvements. This includes a strong customer service focus and ability to create and lead a work environment that promotes collaboration, teamwork, and innovation across services, across the Network.

C.  Certification/Licensure:     BLS certification preferred

                                                Certification in Clinical Informatics preferred

                                                Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified, or obtained within 6 months of hire


D. Travel Requirements:        This position follows a hybrid working model. The Managing Clinical Transformation Consultant may be expected to travel to any Inspira Campus or location in the Southern New Jersey region in support of project work.
