QUALITY AND SAFETY COORDINATOR , LAB.100.67010

Works in conjunction with the Laboratory Administration and Medical Directors in coordinating Quality Improvement, Safety, and Education, throughout the laboratory system.  Reports to the Laboratory Director, and advises and provides direction to Laboratory Management for appropriate corrective action/change when problems are encountered

 

QUALIFICATION:

A.  Education: BS or BA degree in Medical Laboratory Science

 

 

B.  Experience:Five years clinical laboratory experience preferred

 

 

C.  Certification:Certification by American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or other recognized professional accreditation association is required.
