MAJOR FUNCTION : Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the Respiratory Care process of assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, evaluating and diagnostic testing. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery towards the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree of Science or RRT credentialed by meeting one of the requirements set by the NBRC. Bachelor's degree preferred.
B. Experience: Respiratory Care experience preferred.
C. Certification/Licensure: Active NJ License in Respiratory Care and Active NBRC RRT credentials required. Current BLS (American Heart Association) required. ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
