Temporary Position


MAJOR FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Department Director and Radiation Oncologists, performs all routine nursing functions of the Department of Radiation Oncology and is responsible for all records for research projects, department statistics, and patient charts.



  1. Education: Graduate from an approved school of nursing. BSN required for all new hires within 5 years of start date.


  1. Experience: Once year experience in a similar unit. Contacts with patients, physicians, physicist, and other department and hospital staff and patient family members.


  1. Certification/Licensure: Possess a current New Jersey State Nursing license required. BLS required. National Certification required with 3 years of hire.
